Custom Ductwork, Design & Repair

We fabricate and install CUSTOM ductwork: new supply and return runs, transitions, plenums, and full duct systems for basement finishes, additions, remodels, and equipment relocations. Built to the Manual D design, not bent to whatever was lying on the truck. (One thing we don't sell: duct cleaning — sealing and proper design are where the measurable gains are.)

We design ductwork using ACCA Manual D, which calculates the exact size and layout needed to deliver the correct volume of air to every room. This is the same standard required by ENERGY STAR and building codes, but most contractors skip it entirely — they just connect new equipment to existing ductwork without checking if it can handle the airflow.

Our duct testing measures static pressure (the resistance your system fights against), airflow volume at each register, and leak rates using duct blaster testing. High static pressure is a silent efficiency killer — it makes your equipment work harder, shortens its life, and increases noise.

Common duct problems we find in Utah homes: undersized return air (the #1 issue), disconnected joints in attics and crawlspaces, inadequate insulation (leading to condensation and heat loss), restrictive flex duct runs with excessive bends, and improperly sealed boot-to-drywall connections.
