These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by At Your Service Pros ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Agreement

At Your Service Pros provides professional HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services in Utah. Services include installation, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. Specific services will be outlined in your service agreement or quote.

Service Provider

All services are provided by licensed, certified, and background-checked technicians employed or contracted by At Your Service Pros. We reserve the right to assign technicians based on availability and expertise.

Service Quality

We perform all work in a professional manner in accordance with industry standards, local building codes, and manufacturer specifications. All work is subject to inspection by the homeowner.

2. Scheduling & Cancellations

Booking Your Service

You can request services through our website, by phone, or in person. We will provide estimated arrival windows. We make every effort to arrive during the scheduled time, but circumstances may require adjustments.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 24 hours before scheduled service
  • Rescheduling: Free rescheduling with 24+ hours notice
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee
  • No-Show: Full service charge may apply for no-shows without notice

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred time.

3. Pricing & Payment

Quotes and Estimates

We provide free estimates for most services. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions discovered during service.

Pricing Transparency

We are committed to transparent pricing. Labor rates, material costs, and any additional fees will be clearly communicated before work begins. We will notify you of any unexpected costs that arise and obtain your approval before proceeding.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless financing is arranged
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash
  • A valid payment method is required to schedule service
  • Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month

Financing

We offer financing options through our approved lenders. Financing terms, rates, and conditions are subject to credit approval and lender requirements. See our Financing page for details.

4. Warranties

Workmanship Warranty

We warrant all workmanship for one year from the date of service. If a defect in our workmanship is discovered during this period, we will repair or re-perform the work at no charge.

Equipment Warranties

All equipment and materials installed are warranted by the manufacturer. We can assist you with warranty claims, but manufacturer warranties are not provided by At Your Service Pros. Refer to manufacturer documentation for coverage details.

Warranty Limitations

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse or negligence
  • Improper maintenance or lack of maintenance
  • Damage from natural disasters or acts of God
  • Third-party repairs or modifications
  • Electrical surges or power issues

5. Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for those services. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, warranty, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.

Excluded Damages

In no event shall At Your Service Pros be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that home service work carries inherent risks. You assume all risks associated with allowing our technicians to access your home and perform work. We encourage you to be present during service and to inspect work before final payment.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Home Access

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the area requiring service. You must disclose any safety hazards, pets, or other relevant information that could affect service delivery.

Permits and Inspections

You are responsible for obtaining any required permits and scheduling inspections. We can provide recommendations on what may be required, but permit requirements are your responsibility.

Damage Prevention

You are responsible for protecting your personal property during service. We will make reasonable efforts to protect surrounding areas, but cannot be held liable for pre-existing conditions or unforeseeable damage.

7. Maintenance Responsibility

Proper maintenance is essential for equipment longevity and performance. We recommend:

  • Annual HVAC system maintenance
  • Regular plumbing inspections
  • Electrical system checks as recommended
  • Filter changes per manufacturer specifications

Lack of maintenance may void equipment warranties and is not our responsibility.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice.

9. Dispute Resolution

Mediation

Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation before legal action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
