In-home estimates for new equipment are always free. That covers AC replacement, furnace replacement, heat pump install, water heater replacement, water softener, reverse osmosis, EV charger install, panel upgrade, and any other new-install quote.
The reason: a proper quote requires measuring, looking at ductwork or wiring, and running load calculations — that's real work, but we consider it part of earning your business. Repair calls are different. Those carry a diagnostic fee ($79 HVAC / $39 plumbing & electrical) that's waived if you approve the repair.
This is because a diagnostic is the work itself: testing components, measuring voltages, pulling pressures. If we do an hour of diagnosis and you decide to wait, we've still done the work.
